Trip Overview

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations not only in Nepal but in the world. The route has gained popularity among the trekkers as the trekking route takes you to the different world with the diverse characters of the Annapurna region.

The trek offers you not only the breathtaking vista of various snowcapped mountains but you will also experience diverse geography. You will have a vista of gigantic mountains such as Mount Annapurna I (8091 m), Mount Machhapuchhre (6993m). Annapurna Base Camp trekking route takes you to the Annapurna Conservation Area which is a home of various species of wild animals. Moreover, you will feel calm while trekking through rhododendron, oak, bamboo forests on the route. Besides to its natural beauty, you will pass ample local villages which offers you a glimpse of different culture and tradition in this corner of the Earth.

You will enjoy the diverse features of nature during this trek in this region. The region has the deepest gorge in the world named Kaligandaki (About 6000m). The Annapurna region has variation in its topography. Besides, the area is a home for various ethnicity. Among them, Gurung and Magar population is dominant. They are not only rich in their culture and tradition but you will feel comfortable during your trek with their hospitality. Though the up and downhill route is demanding sometimes, you will be rewarded with the waterfalls, rivulet and enjoy crossing few suspension bridges.

The best season to go for this trek is spring and autumn. If you trek on spring, you will be mesmerized by the picturesque views of blooming rhododendron woods. Day 6    Trek to Chhomrong(2210m)

Day 7    Trek to Himalaya Hotel(2600m)

Day 8 Trek to ABC (4130m) through MBC (3700m)  

Day 9    Trek to Bamboo(2310m)

Day 10    Trek to Jhinu Danda (1780m)

Day 11    Trek to Nayapul (1100 m) and    Drive to Pokhara (827m)

Day 12    Drive to Kathmandu(1400m)

Day 13    Departure from Kathmandu(1400m)

Cost Includes

Airport pick up and drop service in a private vehicle

Welcome dinner and farewell dinner.

Twin-sharing accommodation in Kathmandu (2 nights) and Pokhara (2 nights) at tourist standard hotel along with breakfast

Accommodation during the trekking in a teahouse/Lodge

All three meals on the trek (breakfast, lunch, dinner), fruits after dinner and tea/coffee (3 times a day)

Tourist coach drive to and from Pokhara (air ticket or private vehicle can be arranged on the client’s behalf upon request)

Government certified English speaking trekking guide

The entire cost of the staff members involved in the trek (their salary, insurance, equipment, food, and accommodation)

Porters (one porter for every two trekkers) and his entire expenses (salary, food, accommodation equipment, and insurance)

Charges of all necessary documentation and permits that include a permit for Annapurna Conservation Area perm, Trekkers Information Management Systems (TIMS) Card

Down jackets and sleeping bags (upon request), should be returned to the company after completion of the trek.

Your travel insurance that covers helicopter evacuation as well as medical expenses and trip cancellation

Tipping to the guide, porter, and drivers

Any other expenses not itemized in the "What is Included in the Trip cost? " are your personal expenses. 


Our representative, who will be there at the airport with your name card, welcomes you in Nepal and transfers to you to your hotel. After you freshen up, we will meet you at an agreed location and time for the briefing of the upcoming trek. We will take you for a welcome dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant. Overnight in Kathmandu.
We will take to Pokhara in a tourist coach. It’s a long drive however you will be rewarded with the views of the countryside of Nepal. Beautiful views of flowing rivers, green hills make your travel fun. After you check into a hotel in Pokhara, you can roam around this beautiful tourist destination in Nepal. Overnight in Pokhara.
We will transfer you to Nayapul in a private vehicle. Your actual trek starts from Nayapul. Soon after you start the trek, you will be allured by the beautiful countryside sceneries. In about half an hour, you will reach Birethanti where the two rivers confluence. You will go through green meadows, gushing streams and beautiful villages prior to arriving at today’s destination Tikhedhunga.
Today is the tough but rewarding day of this trek. You will ascend on a steep stone staircases. The trail offers you an astonishing vista of mountain Annapurna South and Mt. Hinuchuli. The other attraction of today’s trek is green Oak and rhododendron forest. You will pass through few settlements that include Ulleri, Banthati prior to arriving Ghorepani where you halt for the day.
Today is another important day of your trek since you will hike to Poon Hill- one of the most famous viewpoint- in the Annapurna region. Poon Hill offers you the astounding panoramic view of various mountains including Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu and Annapurna range. After feasting your eyes with the mountain views, you will climb down to Ghorepani for breakfast prior to heading to Tadapani. You will pass through green woods and streams on route to make your way to Tadapani. Overnight at Tadapani.
You will get ready for the trip after breakfast as usual. The path leads you downhill through big rhododendron trees. As you continue through the forest you will enter a beautiful terraced farm. You will pass few waterfalls, suspension bridge while moving ahead in a moderate trail. After crossing Churjung village, you will arrive Chhomrong after crossing a few kilometers ups and down path. Overnight at Chhomrong
In the beginning, the path descends towards Chhomorong Khola, a local stream, over a stony staircase until you cross a suspension bridge over it. Then you will go uphill through a forest. In today’s trail, you will enter the bamboo forest gradually and the view of Mount Machhapuchhre becomes more vivid. Finally, a dense forest above the gorge leads you today’s destination Himalaya Hotel.
It is an exciting day today as you are arriving at the destination of your trek. You will walk down to the bank of Modi River; from where, a moderate upward path leads you to the base camp of Mount Machhapuchhre. You will have a panoramic view of mountains from there. After some time, you will arrive at the Annapurna Base camp. You will be surrounded by the mountains there and also have a view of Annapurna glacier. Overnight at ABC.
You will start the day with the beautiful views of sparking mountains in the rising Sun. Today on the way back you will have a spectacular view of valley and river. You will arrive Bamboo after crossing the forest and descending down for about an hour. Overnight at Bamboo.
You will start the day on an uphill track to Sinuwa. You will have an interesting walk via forest, farmland and observing people at work as the density of the area increase as you move forward. You will have a steep descend to Jhinu Danda through Chhomrong. Overnight at Jhinu Danda.
Today is the final day of your trek. After breakfast, you will ascend a steep path for about an hour before descending to Phedi. You will have an excellent view of the surrounding valley while on the route. We will transfer you to Pokhara from Phedi in a private vehicle. You can explore Pokhara stretching your aching leg. Overnight at Pokhara.
Today you will drive back to Kathmandu in a tourist coach. You will have views of the gushing river, vegetation and local lives on the route. You will be transferred to your hotel upon your arrival in Kathmandu. We will take you out for a farewell dinner tonight. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your final departure as per your flight schedule. You will fly back to your home country with beautiful memories of Annapurna Sanctuary trek and Nepal.
