Tamang Heritage Trek is a moderate trek that provides you an opportunity to walk through green hills with the picturesque views of mountains. Importantly, it offers you a chance to meet the local Tamang people, experience their culture and tradition. The trekking route of Tamang Heritage Trek takes you to the northern part of Kathmandu- the capital city of Nepal.
During the trek, you will have a marvelous view of mountains such as Langtang Lirung (7227m), Ganesh Himal (7422m), Shispangma (8027m) including others. Emerald hills and farmland feast your eyes during the trek. During the trek, you will enjoy the songs and dance of local Tamang tribe. Besides, Chortens, Mane Wall, prayer wheels, prayers flags take you to the Buddhist world.
If you choose to go for this trek, you will be contributing to the local people directly. You will have the first-hand experience of Tamang culture as you will stay in the local homestay operated by Tamang people. Day 2: Drive to Syafrubeshi (1420m) – 7/8 hour drive
Day 3: Trek to Gatlang (2238m) - 5/6 hour
Day 4: Trek to Tatopani (2607m) – 5/6 hour
Day 5: Trek to Nagthali (3165m) – 5/6 hour
Day 6: Trek to Rasuwagadi (1750m) - 4/5 hour
Day 7: Trek to Briddim (2230m) – 5/6 hour
Day 8: Trek to Shyafrubesi (1460m) – 3/4 hour
Day 9: Drive from Syafrubesi to Kathmandu in a commuter bus (1400m) 6-7 hour drive
Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu

Welcome dinner with Nepali cultural program and a farewell dinner.
