Rapid Annapurna Thorong La Pass is designed to address the necessity of those who want to experience the world-famous tourist destination despite their time limitations. However, shortening the trip does not mean that you will be deprived of experiencing any adventure in the Annapurna region. The trekking route takes you through the major tourist attraction in the region. You will get an opportunity to trek from low elevation to the higher level while enjoying the majestic mountains in the area. You will pass Manang district of Nepal which rich in different topography and diverse culture and traditions.
The region offers you picturesque views of oak, rhododendron forest and cascading numerous waterfalls takes you to the different world. The region is a habitat for various species of fauna. The trek covers the major destination in the region including Poon Hill (3210m) and Thorong-La-Pass (5416 m). The views from Poon Hill are panoramic.
The trek starts from a lower elevation to the highest point of the trek Thorong-La-Pass. The trail takes you to the Buddhist and Hindu kingdom. Chorten, Monasteries with prayer wheels and prayer flags take you to the world of tranquility. Besides natural beauty, you will witness the lifestyle of people of different tribes including Gurung, Thakali and Magar.
Anybody with good physical fitness can embark on this trek. Previous short trekking would be an advantage. There is a slim chance of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) as our experienced and professional team members take care of you the entire trek and respond to any difficulties promptly.
