Nar Phu Valley Trek takes the adventure lovers to the remote part of Manang district of Nepal. Comparatively, this trekking destination is a new in Nepal as it was opened only in 2003 AD. The trekking package offers adventure and insight of local cultures. During this trekking, you will walk through local hamlets, forest and in the unique landscape. The other attraction of the trek is that it takes the traveler to the famous Kangla Pass (5322m). Besides, the trail rejoins the Annapurna Circuit Trek trail, so this trek also gives a partial experience of Annapurna Circuit Trek to the travelers.
Addressing your expectation when you trek in Nepal, the trek offers you the views of various mountains that includes Mount Dhaulagiri (8176m), Mount Manaslu (8163m). Besides, you will have a mesmerizing view of Annapurna massif, Lamjung Himal and Tilicho Peak. Moreover, you will have plenty of time to explore the local villages such as Nar, Phu and learn the lifestyle of local people. Since this is a remote region trek, you might not have a tea house/ lodges in every place where you stop, but we provide the best possible accommodation option and food during the trek. Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Bensisahar (760m) and drive to Koto (2600m) - 9/10 hour drive
Day 04: Trek to Meta (3560m) 6/7 hour
Day 05: Trek to Phu village (4080m) – 6/7 hour

Day 07: Trek to Nar Village (4110m) – 6/7 hour

Day 09: Trek to Ngawal (3660m) via Kang-La Pass (5320m) – 7/8 hour
Day 10: Trek to Pisang (3200m) and drive to Besisahar (760m) – 2/3 hour trek and 2/3 hour drive
Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu (1400m) – 7/8 hour drive

Today you will arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal. Our representative will receive soon after you exit passing through custom and transfer you to a hotel. After you freshen up, we will meet you for the trek briefing at your hotel or in our office in the evening. Tonight, we will take you for a welcome dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant.
Today, we will take you for Kathmandu sightseeing. Kathmandu- a city having cultural and historical importance- has a lot to offer you. We will take you to significant tourist places in Kathmandu such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple among others. After you return from the day tour, you will have time for trek preparation. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Today, you will drive to Besisahar from Kathmandu. You will enjoy the cascading rivers, green vegetation during today’s drive. You will take a subsequent drive to Koto from Besisahar. Koto offers a view of snowcapped mountains including Mountain Annapurna II and Mount Manaslu. You will stay overnight at Koto.
You will start the trek from Koto and enter the restricted area of Nar Phu valley. A rocky path leads you ahead. You will have a beautiful walk through forest, waterfalls and arrive in Dharmasala. Further walk takes you to Meta where halt for the day.
Today you will ascend to a meadow on a plateau in the beginning. You will have a scenic walk in a dry land with shrubs. You will pass through a couple of local settlements such as Chayko and Kyang today. The landscape you transverse today is famous for its uniqueness. You will walk alongside a river and also see Chorten and Monastery along the route. You will have a steep climb to reach the today’s destination Phu village.
Today, you will explore the historical village of Phu. You will be delighted to see the lifestyle of local people who are spending their lives traditionally and do not care much about the modern rapid changing world. Old monastery and forts are the other attraction of this Tibetan alike village. A point above a Tashi Lakhang Gompa offers a panoramic view of the region including the snowcapped mountains. Overnight at Phu.
Today we will descend to a local Phu river, and then you will retrace to Chyako village. You will have insights into the local culture as you pass through the settlements. A twisting uphill trail leads you to beautiful Nar village. You will see Mani walls before arriving at Nar village. An entrance gate welcomes you to this historic village.
Nar village is another attraction of this trek. You will have enough time to observe the local culture and meet the people. Local monasteries and chortens depict traditional artworks. The village is a real picture of Manang district and the way of life of local people. Overnight at Nar village.
As you resume the trek, you will reach a pasture and, further ahead you will enter on a path with loose scree and rocky moraine that leads you to Kangla Pass. You will scan the area from the Pass, and besides other scenes, you will also have views of Annapurna III and IV. Then, a steep downhill path with spree takes you to Ngawal. Overnight at Ngawal.
Today is the final day of your actual trek. You will head to Pisang on a smooth and wide trail alongside Marysangdi River. After a brief rest at Pisang, you will drive to Besisahar where you halt for the day.
You will drive to Kathmandu from Besisahar today. You will have a scenic drive alongside a river, through green vegetation and also observe the local way of life. Our guide will transfer you to the respective hotel in Kathmandu. Our representative will take you for a farewell dinner tonight.
Today is your final day in Nepal unless you prolong your stay. We will transfer you to the international airport in Kathmandu for your final departure. You will fly back to your home with a new memory of Manang district of Nepal.
