Mount Ama Dablam Expedition is an expedition in one of the prettiest mountains in the world. Ama Dablam means ‘mother’s necklace’. The mountain looks like a baby hanging around a mother’s neck and mother is protecting the baby. Mount Ama Dablam (6812m) remains the dominant mountain on the eastern side during the classic Everest Base Camp Trek. Mount Ama Dablam was first climbed on 13 March 1961 by a team led by New Zealander climber Mike Gill and is considered as third most popular Himalayan peak expedition in Nepal.
The expedition starts with an exciting flight to Lukla from Kathmandu- the capital city of Nepal. After that, you will trek to the base camp of Mount Ama Dablam before reaching the top of this mountain. Then, you will retrace the path to Lukla before flying back to Kathmandu.
The expedition package not only provide you with the thrilling experience of the mountain but it has a lot more to offer you. You will enjoy the unique mountain terrain, gushing river and the alpine vegetation while on the way and back to Mount Ama Dablam. Besides, you will witness the way of lives of locals as you will be crossing the adequate number of settlements during this trip. Day 08: Trek to Pangboche (3985m) – 3/4 hour

Day 10 - 24: Climbing Period (Highest elevation 6812m)
