The trek takes you to the lap of world’s tallest mountain Mount Everest (8848m) and provides abundant opportunity to quench your thirst of a panoramic mountain vista. The unique alpine topography and the world famous Khumbu glacier make you feel that you are in a different planet. As the trail takes you through Sagarmatha National Park, you will have ample opportunity to see the alpine vegetation and possibly witness some wild beasts. The national park is a home for some endangered species of wild animals. Gushing river, suspension bridge with fluttering prayer flags, mane walls, chortens make your trip unique.

Moreover, it’s a home for various tribes including the world famous Sherpa. Sherpas are not only renowned in the mountaineering sector, but they are also rich in their culture and tradition. The trekking package is designed in such a way that it provides you ample time for acclimatization, so there is a slim chance of catching Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing (1400m)

Day 03:  Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2610m) – 30 minutes flight, 3/4 hour trek

Day 04:  Trek to Namche Bazar (3440 m) 5/6 hour

Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar (3440m)

Day 06:  Trek to Deboche (3820m) 5/6 hour

Day 07:  Trek to Dingboche (4410) - 5/6 hour

Day 08:  Acclimatization at Dingboche (4410m)

Day 09:  Trek to Lobuche (4940m) - 5/6 hour

Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) via Gorak Shep (5,164m) - 5/6 hour

Day 11:  Hike to Kala Patthar and trek to Pheriche (4 371m) - 6/7 hour

Day 12:  Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m) 6/7 hour

Day 13:  Trek to Lukla (2,860m) – 6/7 hour

Day 14: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu - 30 minutes flight

Day 15: Final Departure (1400m)

Itinerary

You will arrive in the land of Himalayan today. Our representative will receive and transfer you to your hotel in a private vehicle. We will meet you for the trip briefing either at our office or at your hotel. We will take you out for a welcome dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Our guide will take you out for a day tour today. You will visit the major tourist destinations in the Kathmandu; some of them are enlisted in the world heritage sites. After you return from the tour, you have time for preparation of the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today, you will have the scenic and thrilling flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. You can have a bird’s-eye view of the countryside of Nepal. You will have breakfast at Lukla before starting the trek. You will meet the vital member of the trek – the porter- today. After a few hours of the walk, while getting introduced with the mountain terrain, you will arrive at Phakding where you halt today.

Today, the path with rocks, steps, and gravels leads you ahead. The suspension bridges with prayer flags are the main attraction of the day. You will feel calm while walking alongside the picturesque Dudhkoshi River. From Monzo, you will officially enter the Sagarmatha National Park. After passing few settlements observing the local lives, you will cross the final suspension bridge for today before ascending to today’s destination Namche Bazar.

The guide will take you for day excursion around Namche Bazar. You will go to a nearby Sherpa museum which depicts the lifestyle of Sherpa people. The museum’s yard offers you a magnificent view of mountains. Further, you will ascend a steep path to Hotel Everest View; from where you can have a better view of Mt. Everest and other peaks in Khumbu region. Overnight at Namche Bazar.

You will begin on a moderate trail from Namche Bazar today. The trail goes through the ridge and descends to a valley where you meet Dudhkoshi again. After lunch, a steep rocky path passes through rhododendron forest examines your endurance and leads you to Tengboche. You can visit the famous local monastery at Tengboche. A quick ascend through woods takes you to today’s destination Deboche.

You will leave Deboche and move ahead through rhododendron and juniper woods which leads you to Imja Khola- a local stream. You will have the spectacular views of Mount Ama Dablam, Mount Nuptse including others. Then, you will ascend on a rocky path to Pangboche. A track with occasional shrubs alongside leads you today’s destination - Dingboche.

Today is another acclimatization day before heading to the higher altitude. You can climb a nearby ridge which offers you a fantastic view of Mount Ama Dablam right in front of you. Make sure, you have windproof clothes as the hill might be windy. It might be worthy to visit a local bakery to have some bakery items and hot drinks. Overnight at Dingboche.

After a quick steep climb from Dingboche, you will reach on a plateau, and the wide trail allows you to walk free. You walk passing many mountains including Mt. Tabuche Peak (6495m) on your left. From Thukla, a steep climb over a rocky path leads you to Thukla Pass. Then, you will walk on a glacial moraine to reach Lobuche where you stop for the day.

Today is the big day as you will reach the Base Camp of the world’s tallest mountain. The rocky and dusty trail alongside massive Khumbu glacier takes you to the Everest Base Camp through Gorak Shep. Spend some time and capture your victory in your cameras before making your way back to Gorak Shep where you spend overnight.

Early in the morning, you will hike to Kalapatthar not to miss the splendid sunrise view over the mountains. A steep uphill path leads you to this great viewpoint. You will have the fantastic look of the wide range of mountains in the Khumbu region including Mount Everest (8848m), Mount Nuptse (7543m). Then, you climb down to Gorakshep and retrace the path until Thukla. A short walk in a valley takes you to your today’s destination- Pheriche.

Following breakfast, you will resume your trek to Pangboche. You will have the picturesque views of grazing yaks in a meadow with occasion bushes. You will cross Imja Khola and will retrace the path to Namche Bazar. Overnight at Namche Bazar.

In the beginning, you will descend to Hillary suspension bridge. And, walking on a steady uphill path passing through various settlements, you will arrive in Lukla. You might not want to end the trek, but it’s the final day of the trek. You will bid farewell to the porters today. Overnight at Lukla.

After early breakfast, you will get ready for your flight back to Kathmandu. You will have a glimpse of hilly topography of Nepal on board. We will transfer you to your hotel upon your arrival in Kathmandu. We will take you out for a farewell dinner tonight.

Today is the last of your Nepal trip for this time. We will transfer you to Tribhuwan International airport for your final departure. You will fly back to your home country with sweet memories of Nepal. We know you will come back for the next trip.
