Makalu (8481) and Mount Cho Oyu (8201m).

Our representative will receive and transfer you to your hotel. One of our staff members will meet you at the hotel or in our office at 5:30 pm for the briefing about the trek. We will take you for a welcome dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant where you enjoy Nepalese cultural program while having dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.
You are flying to Lukla airport from Kathmandu today. At Lukla, you will have breakfast before starting the trek. Your porter/s will join you in Lukla. After 3/4 hours walk, while enjoying the view of the farm field, gushing Dudhkoshi River you will reach Phakding where you will halt for the day.
You will start your day with breakfast at Phadking today. The trail goes alongside Dudhkoshi River and you will be crossing few suspension bridges today. When you arrive in Monzo, your guide will complete the official procedures to enter the Sagarmatha National Park for all of you. At the end of the day, the route goes uphill after crossing a suspension bridge. In about two hours or so, you will arrive Namche Bazar after crossing pine forest. Namche Bazar has almost all necessary facilities. You will stay overnight there.
You will stay at Namche Bazaar today in order to acclimatize your body with the altitude. Today, you will go for a day trip around Namche Bazar. You do not miss to visit Sherpa museum located on the nearby hill that displays Sherpa culture and tradition. The museum yard also offers you a fantastic view of Himalayan range. If you endure a steep hike to the Everest View Hotel, the location gives you a good view of Mount Everest including other mountains. You will come down and stay overnight at Namche Bazar.
After a brief uphill, you will continue on a moderate path before going downhill through a juniper woods. You will have a picturesque view of Mt. Kusum Kanguru (6367m), Ama Dablam (6812m) Thamserku (6623m) including others. Following a short break after lunch, the rocky path leads you to Tengboche via a rhododendron forest. Finally, the fluttering Buddhist flags at Tengboche monastery greet you. In addition, you will enjoy the mountain views around. Overnight stay at Tengboche.
Today, you will descend to Deboche before going via the mountain forest. Then, you will cross a suspension bridge over white and refreshing water. After a gradual uphill, you will pass through Kyangjuma and Tashinga settlements prior to arriving in Khumjung. Khumjung is the largest village in the Khumbu region. The rock walls dividing the fields give you a beautiful view of the village. Attractive Chortens, Mane and praying flags are the other attractions of the place. You will stay here tonight.
After breakfast, you will head to Thame. This will be your another fantastic day in the Everest region. Thame is a small Sherpa settlement. You will be delighted to know that you will be staying in the village of world famous climbers Tenzing Norgay (one of the first men who caled the Mount Everest) and other famous mountaineers. And, of course, the place is famous for Sherpa traditions, cultures and beautiful mountains.
You will resume your trek after breakfast today. As you are descending, you will feel easier walking in comparison to the previous days. You will enjoy the combination of nature and culture as you will be crossing a few Sherpa settlements on the route. Then, you will arrive in another beautiful Sherpa settlement Monzo. Monzo is a gateway to the Sagarmatha National Park. Primarily, the village relies on tourism. You will stay overnight here today.
Today is the final day of your actual trekking. After crossing a few small Sherpa villages, you will reach Lukla where you had begun your trek. You will bid farewell to the porters who were the backbone of the entire trek. You will stay overnight at Lukla.
You will reach nearby Lukla airport after breakfast for your flight back to Kathmandu. If the weather permits, you will have a nice view of the hilly area of the country while on the flight. Your guide will accompany you to your respective hotel from the domestic airport in Kathmandu. If you wish, you can explore Thamel and buy gifts for your relatives and friends. You will have a farewell dinner with one of our company staffs.
Today you will wrap up your Nepal trip for this time. Our representative will drop you at the Airport from the hotel as per your flight time. You will return to your country with sweet memories of Nepal in your heart.
