Everest Base Camp treks via Salleri- 19 days

Trip Overview

Everest Base Camp Trek via Salleri is a pathway to the world’s highest mountain through an isolated route. The trek is all about nature, local culture and tradition. If you love to be in isolation for a few days on a route while enjoying the hilly cultivation and witnessing the local culture, this package is for you. The route avoids the classic way to the Everest Base Camp for first few days. You will be lucky to follow the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa-the first men to conquer the Mount Everest; since they had used the same path when they went to the Mount Everest initially.

Everest Base Camp Trek via Salleri takes you to the lap of the Mount Everest as well as to the famous viewpoints Kalapatthar (5643m). Kalapatthar offers you a glorious view of Mount Everest and a wide range of mountains in the Khumbu region. Besides fascinating mountains, the trekking route takes you to the geologically attractive area which is rooted in the glaciers, valleys, and rivers.

Besides its natural beauty, Khumbu region is a habitat of Sherpa people who have spent more than four century in the region. Without renowned Sherpa tribe, the characteristic of Khumbu region remains inadequate. The route to the Everest Base Camp Trek via Salleri passes through ample Sherpa settlements proving the trekkers an opportunity to witness the Sherpa culture and tradition. Meanwhile, the frequent prayer wheels, Chortens, Mani wall, prayer flags take you to the Buddhist world.

You should have a good level of physical fitness in order to embark on this trek. One should be aware of, but should not be concerned about Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) as our well-trained guide recognizes such sickness on time and responds it efficiently. In addition, we arrange prompt helicopter evacuation service (your insurance should cover this) in case of necessity.

The Everest Base Camp via Salleri Trek will provide you meld experiences of nature, culture, and topography which will, for sure, be the memory for your lifetime.
