Our representative, whom you will see with your name card at the airport, will receive and transfer you to the hotel. Our customer service staffs will meet you at the hotel or in our office (as per the convenience) at 5:30 pm for the briefing regarding the trek. We will take you out for a welcome dinner with typical Nepalese cultural dance. Overnight in Kathmandu.
You will be accompanied by our guide from your hotel and will be transferred to the airport. You will fly to Tenzing-Hillary airport Lukla which will be one of the most thrilling flights of your lifetime. At Lukla, you will have a breakfast and meet the porters who will assist you the entire trek. After you all set to go, your actual trek begins passing through the marketplace of Lukla. After 3/4 hours of the walk while enjoying the introductory terrain and the beauty of Khumbu region, you will arrive Phakding where you stay overnight today.
The day will be a day of suspension bridge since you are crossing many of them. You can enjoy the gushing Dudh Koshi River with green vegetation on the bank as most of the trail goes nearby this river today. At Monzo, your guide will make necessary administrative procedures in order to enter the Sagarmatha National Park. The trail ascends through a pine forest before entering a renowned Namche Bazar. You can have basic facilities such as hotels, restaurants, money exchange counter and shops in this lively village. You will stay overnight there.
For acclimatization, you will stay at Namche Bazaar today. After breakfast, the guide will take you for a day excursion including to the Sherpa museum. The museum displays artworks that depict the Sherpa way of life. The open space nearby the park gives you a great view of the Himalayan range. You can choose to go up a steep trail to the Everest View Hotel; from where you will be rewarded with better views of the Mt. Everest. You will descend and stay overnight at Namche Bazar.
After breakfast, you will start the day. Following a quick ascend you will continue on a moderate trail before descending about an hour through a pine woods. You will enjoy superb views of Mt. Kusum Kanguru (6367m), Thamserku (6623m) and Ama Dablam (6812m) on the route. After Lunch, you will ascend to Tengboche through a sub-tropical forest. The biggest monastery in Khumbu region welcomes you at Tengboche with fluttering Buddhist flags. Towering Ama Dablam at the background of Monastery looks superb. Overnight stay at Tengboche.
After breakfast at Dingboche, you will continue your treks. Following a quick descend, the trail continues through a forest until you cross a stream. Thereafter, you enter the stony barren land. You will cross a couple of settlements on the way prior to arriving in Dingboche, where you spend your two days.
By now, you have climbed the altitude above 4400 meters; therefore your body needs to acclimatize with the altitude for smooth ascend ahead. After breakfast, you will go to Chukung hill or Imja valley for exploring the area and also tuning your body with the altitude. In the afternoon, it’s worthy to visit a local bakery to watch movie/documentary related to the mountains while enjoying bakery items. You will like a lively restaurant with a bunch of trekkers, porters, and guides while having your dinner before going to bed.
You depart from Dingboche following your breakfast today. After a quick ascend, your trail goes through a flat terrain to Thukla. You will stop for refreshment there to prepare you for the short rocky uphill up to Thukla Pass. At Thukla Pass, there are monuments built for the late climbers who lost their lives in the mountains. You will forget your recent exhaustion when you see the picturesque view of mountains from the Pass. After about an hour of walk over rocky trail you will arrive in Lobuche where you halt for the day.
This is the exciting day of the entire trip as you will reach the Everest Base Camp today. After the breakfast, you will resume your treks on a rocky trail passing through Gorekshep. Now your lifetime dream comes true, you will be there at the base camp of the world’s highest mountain in a while. Express your victory, take photos, videos and return to Gorakshep for the overnight stay.
It’s better to prepare for the day early morning not to miss the splendid view of the sunrise from Kalapatthar. You will give a push uphill to get atop Kalapatthar. One of the famous viewpoints in the Khumbu region offers you a marvelous view of Mount Everest and a wide range of mountains in the region. The bright crimson color of the rising sun adds beauty to the Mountain range. After breakfast, you will collect your backpack and climb down to Periche for the overnight stay.
After breakfast at Periche, the trail leads you down through mountain shrubs where you can have a click of the yaks in the pasture. You will cross a couple of settlements like Pangboche, Tengboche while enjoying the juniper and rhododendron wood. You should be happy to be back to Namche Bazaar at a moderate pace to enjoy the lively evening there.
This is the last day of the trek. You will climb down the hills from Namche and continue the trail along the Dudhkoshi River to Lukla. You will continue walking devouring the beauty of the area that you missed while ascending. After freshening up and packing your luggage; you can explore Lukla to know albeit little about local denizens and their culture.
You will get ready with your backpacks and reach the nearby Lukla airport to take a flight back to Kathmandu. You will enjoy green hills, dense forest and have a chance to catch a glimpse topography of hilly area while on board. You will be transferred to the hotel from the Kathmandu airport. You can have some time for exploring Kathmandu valley and buying souvenirs today. You will have a farewell dinner with the company’s representative.
This is the final day in Nepal for this time. Our representative will transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport from the hotel as per your flight schedule. You will fly back to your sweet home with beautiful memories of Nepal.
