This trekking route takes you to Poon Hill, one of the best viewpoints in the Annapurna region, offering you magnificent views of Mount Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal and Ganesh Himal including others on the backdrop of green hills. The mountain range looks fabulous when they reflect the rays of crimson rising sun. Oak trees, rhododendron forest are the other attractions of the trek. Walking through these woods along the route makes your mind calm. Besides, you will experience the distinctive topography on the planet the deepest gorge in the world known as Kaligandaki gorge.
Besides nature, the area you are trekking is a home of famous tribes in Nepal Gurung and Magar. They are rich in their culture and tradition. You will have a glimpse of their traditions and culture as you pass and sometimes stop in their settlements for the overnight stay. There is no question of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) since the trekking does not go higher than Poon Hill which lies at the altitude of 3210m.

We will receive you at the Tribhuwan International Airport upon your arrival. You will not miss our representative who will be there out with your name card soon after you exit. S/he will transfer you to your respective hotel. We will take you for a welcome dinner in a Nepali restaurant with Nepali cultural program.
You might want to know, albeit little, about the capital city of Nepal-Kathmandu- before embarking on a trek to the countryside. You will visit world heritage sites including other top tourist destinations in Kathmandu such as Durbar Square, Swoyambu Nath (monkey temple), Boudhanath. You will return to your hotel in the afternoon and make the necessary preparation for the trek.
Today you will catch a tourist bus to Pokhara early in the morning. You will be stopped on the way for breakfast and Lunch. Though it’s a long drive, you will have an opportunity to see the gushing river and green vegetation. Besides, you will have a chance to have a glimpse of local lives along the highway. You will be transferred to your hotel in Pokhara. You can explore this beautiful lake city in the evening. Overnight in Pokhara.
After breakfast, you will have a scenic drive about two hours in a private vehicle from Pokhara to Nayapul. You will start the trek exploring the Nepalese lifestyle at Nayapul. Soon after you embark on the trek, you will have a scenic view of the countryside. The terraced farm field with crops on the route is worth watching. You will stay in a fairly comfortable tea house in Tikhedhunga today.
Soon after you resume the trek today, stone staircases are awaiting to examine your endurance almost up to Ulleri. You will cross picturesque hilly settlements and have jaw-dropping mountain vista on the route today. Streams and rhododendron forest are the other attraction of today’s trek. You will stay at the beautiful Ghorepani village tonight.
Today is an exciting day since you are hiking to the famous viewpoint of the region- Poon Hill. After about an hour uphill, you are there at your destination. Rising sun above the mountains range is fabulous. After spending a quality time at Poon Hill, you will descend to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue your trek to Tadapani. You will have the excellent view of snow-capped mountains on the route. Stay overnight at Tadapani.
You will leave Tadapani with the incredible view of Mount Machhapuchhre and Mount Annapurna South. You will continue your trek through dense forest in a narrow valley. In about three hours, you will arrive in Ghandruk. You will explore the village and learn about local Gurung people and their way of life. Overnight at Ghandruk.
After breakfast, today you will walk down on stone steps. The views throughout the day are amazing. You will watch the local people and life. After ascending over stony staircase for a couple of hours, you will stop at Landruk for Lunch. You will enjoy the terraced field in the village. After passing a couple of settlements including Deurali you will arrive at Potana where you stop for the day.
Today is the final day of your trek; however, you will still enjoy the view of Annapurna ranges and Mount Dhaulagiri. You will walk through beautiful villages, terraced farms, and forest before officially ending your trek at Dhampus Phedi. Then, you will drive to Pokhara. Enjoy the lively evening in this beautiful city.
You will drive back the same route to Kathmandu. Again, you will enjoy gushing Trishuli River, green vegetation and watch the local lives on the route. After freshen up, you can have some time for shopping souvenir for your friends and family in Kathmandu. We will take you out for farewell dinner tonight.
Today is the last day of your trip to Nepal for this time. We will drop you at the airport for your flight back to your country as per your flight time. You will leave Nepal with a lot of beautiful memories.
