Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek is one of the famous and the longest trekking routes in the Annapurna region in Nepal. As you are spending many days in the region comparing to the other trekking plans; of course, it offers you more than the others.

There is a slim chance of catching Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) since the trail starts off from a lower elevation and gradually ascends to higher. You will land at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Our representative will be out there with your name card soon after you exit from the airport. S/he will transfer you to a hotel. After freshen up, you can explore the tourist hub in Kathmandu-Thamel. We will take you for a welcome dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant tonight.
You will start the day early today to get to Syanje on a commuter bus. Though it is about 7/8 hour drive from Kathmandu, you will enjoy the countryside in Nepal and the sight of mountains along the route. Gushing rivers, green vegetation, terraced farm field are the other attractions of the day. You will stay overnight in Syange.
Today you will cross a suspension bridge over Marsyangdi River twice. Though the trail is full of ups and down, you will be rewarded with the views of beautiful waterfalls and experience passing through the rocky cliff. You cannot express the feeling arouse while watching beautiful falls on the route. After crossing picturesque villages such as Chamje and Tal you will arrive today’s destination Dharapani. Overnight at Dharapani.
You will climb through the beautiful Oak and rhododendron forest today. You will have a sporadic view of Mount Manaslu, Annapurna II including others while ascending to Danaque. You will go through a couple of settlements Timang and Thanchowk on the route. It will be a scenic walk through rhododendron, pine forest, and farmland today. You will halt at Chame for the overnight stay.
You will experience the gorges, pristine river, pastures, cascading waterfalls during today’s trek. You will have a view of Lamjung Himal including other mountains on the route. Mane walls, chortens, and different topography make you feel that you are in a different world. You will arrive in today’s destination Pisang after crossing a few settlements including Thaleku, Barathang, Paungi Danda. Overnight at Pisang.
Gradually we are entering the dry land. Between the two trails leading to Manang, we will take the trail on the northern direction. Though the path demanding today, you will be rewarded with the majestic views and distinctive geography while passing through Ghyaru and Ngawal villages. After passing Braga you will arrive in today’s destination Manang. Prayer wheels, flags, Mani walls in Manang make you feel that you are truly in the land of Lord Gautam Buddha. Overnight at Manang.
After breakfast, you will go for a day tour around Manang. You can see some of the mountains of Annapurna range from Manang. You can hike to Gangapurna Lake where the pristine turquoise water welcomes you and you will, of course, enjoy the topography around with infrequent shrubs. Roam around Manang in the afternoon to know local denizens and their culture.
As you resume the trek, you will continue walking through an alpine forest after crossing a river. You will pass through a couple of settlements including Khangsar and Siri Kharka prior to arriving at the Tilicho Base Camp. Walking on the path with rubbles and through landslide area might be tiresome however you will be rewarded with beautiful sunset views over the mountains. Overnight at the Tilicho Base Camp.
Today you will hike to Tilicho Lake that lies on the foothill of Tilicho Peak. Breathtaking views of mountains together with the turquoise pristine water lake are inexpressible in words. After spending time in the heaven on the Earth, you will trek to Tilicho Base Camp and continue to Siri Kharka for the overnight stay.
Today, the trail leads you down to Thare Gomba and then you will head to Old Kangsar. You will see the pastures on the route, however, herders only bring their cattle there in the summer season. You will have the view of Marsyangdi river valley on the route. The route conjoins the regular Annapurna Circuit trek. After crossing Mane wall, you will arrive in Yak Kharka where you halt for the day.
You will resume the trek on an uphill path which leads you to a suspension bridge. In a while, after crossing the bridge you will arrive in Ledar. The up and down path passing through cliffs with spree leads you to Thorong Phedi where you spend tonight. Today, you will have fantastic views of some mountains including Mt. Khatungkan, Mt. Syagang including others.
With a stunning view of Mount Annapurna III, you will start walking on a sloping path to high camp. From High Camp, you will continue trekking through a path across a slope. If you are lucky you will see a snow leopard. Express victory when you arrive in the most famous pass in the world. Then, you will descend to Muktinath Temple- a famous temple among the Hindus around the world. After visiting the temple, you will drive to Jomsom for the overnight stay.
You will have a scenic drive to Tatopani from Jomsom with splendid mountain views. Driving in this altitude having different topography adds your driving experience. You will pass few settlements before arrived in Tatopani where you stay tonight. The place has hot water spring.
You will start the day with breakfast as usual. Today might be a demanding day; however, you will reach on the foothill of Annapurna region approaching the Poon Hill- the famous viewpoint in the region. Stay overnight at Ghorepani.
You will resume the trek early today in order to ensure that you will have a fabulous sunrise view over the mountains. You will go uphill to Poon Hill from Ghorepani however, the crimson rising sunray over the mountains range make you forget your recent steep climb. In addition, Poon Hill offers you a panoramic view in the Annapurna region. Then, you will descend to Ghorepani. After breakfast, you will resume the trek to Tadapani where you stop for the day.
You will start the day from Tadapani with the view of Mt. Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South. The path leads you to Chandruk via hilly woods. You will reach today’s destination Ghandruk in about 4 hours. Trekking in the Annapurna region is not only about nature but it’s also rich in culture and tradition. Gurung is dominant in Ghandruk who are rich in their culture and famous for their hospitality. The village also offers stunning views of Annapurnas. Overnight at Ghandruk.
Today is the final day of your trekking in the Annapurna region. You will trek down to Nayapul today devouring the beauty of the area. It takes for about two hours to reach Pokhara in a private vehicle. After freshen up, you can explore the beautiful city Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
You will drive to Kathmandu on a tourist bus. You will be stopped in a couple of places for Lunch and refreshment. You will enjoy the gushing river, green vegetation and see the local lives along the highway. We will transfer you to your hotel upon arrival in Katmandu. After you freshen up, we will take you for a farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
We will transfer you to the International airport at Kathmandu according to your flight schedule. Though you have soring leg on the flight, you will have beautiful memories of the famous tourist destination in the world- Annapurna region.
