Advance Everest Base Camp Trek via Tibet offers Trans country experience to the travelers in a single trip. During this trek, you will touch the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest (8848m). Besides Mount Everest, you will enjoy the lovely views of various renowned peaks such as Mount Cho Oyu (8201m), Mount Lhotse (8516m).
In addition to the mountains, the trek offers unique terrain of Tibet which is also known as the forbidden kingdom. Different unique terrain, abundant grassy land on the Tibetan plateau provide you with the different experiences. In addition to the natural beauty, you will have a chance to observe the lifestyle of local people of this region. The trek gives you a different perspective of life when you see the way of life of Nomadic tribe in Tibetan plateau.

The trip starts from Kathmandu-the capital city of Nepal. You will have an opportunity to explore this vibrant city which houses many UNESCO world heritage sites. After that, the trip continues with a scenic flight close to Lhasa. Lhasa is an administrative and cultural headquarter of Tibet. In Lhasa, a traveler explores Potala and Norbulingka palaces including other tourist destinations. You will enjoy driving and trekking on the unique terrain of Tibetan Plateau. Unlike classic trek to the Everest Base Camp, this trek takes you above the base camp from Tibetan side. Besides, you will not only observe the culture and tradition of the Tibetan people, but their hospitality makes you feel you are home away from home.

Day 06: Drive to Shigatse (3900m) - 6 /7 hour 

Day 07: Drive to Langkor Monastery via Tingri (4490m) – 5/6 hour

Day 08: Drive to Rongbuk (4900m) - 5/6 hour

Day 09: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5200m) – 2/3 hour 

Day 10: Trek to Camp I (5460m) – 4/5 hour

Day 11: Trek to Interim Camp (5760m) – 5/6 hour

Day 12:  Acclimatization and rest day at Interim Camp (5760m)

Day 13: Trek to Camp II (5970m) – 3/4 hour

Today, you will arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal. Soon after you exit Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative will welcome you in Nepal and transfer you to a hotel. After you freshen up, we will meet briefly for the trek briefing in the evening. We will take you out for a welcome dinner tonight.
Our guide will take you out for sightseeing in Kathmandu today. You will be delighted to visit monuments listed in the UNESCO world heritage site. Besides, you will have a glimpse of the way of life of local people. After you return to the hotel, you will have time to prepare for the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Today, you will fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu across the mountain ranges so that you would have magnificent mountain views on board. Besides, you will have a bird’s-eye view of different alpine terrain while on board. You will land at Gongar airport. A couple of hour drive from the airport takes you to Lhasa. Overnight at Lhasa.
Today, you will explore Lhasa- the administrative and cultural headquarter of Tibet. You will explore the renowned tourist destinations such as Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace, Jokhang temple. Also, you will explore the market place in Lhasa and see the life of local people. Overnight at Lhasa.
Today, you will explore Lhasa more as it has a lot to offer you. It is worth visiting remaining local monasteries such as Drepung, Sera. The monasteries depict the culture, history, and religion of Tibetan people. Besides, you will explore Barkhor market place which is considered a significant hub in Lhasa. Overnight at Lhasa.
Following breakfast, you will set off for Shigatse-the second largest city in Tibet. You will drive through Khamba La Pass (4704m), and the pass offers you mesmerizing view of Yomdrok-So Lake- a pristine turquoise water lake. You will detour local monastery at Gyantse. You will arrive in today’s destination Shigatse while enjoying the snowcapped mountains.
Today, it is an exciting day as you will pass through two famous passes: Tso La Pass (4500m) and Gyatsola Pass (5220m). Also, you will have a view of Mount Everest on the route today. You will pass Tingri village- a place where people of Tibet and Nepal used to use as a trade hub. A further drive takes you to Langkor Monastery where you halt for the day.
After breakfast today, you will drive to Rongbuk from Langkor Monastery. You will have splendid mountain views during today’s drive, and also you will enjoy unique mountain terrain. You will explore famous Rongbuk monastery when you arrive in Rongbuk. Overnight at Rongbuk.
You will start the actual trek from today. Today you will be arriving at the base camp of the world’s highest mountain. You will enjoy walking on a different mountain terrain with beautiful views of mountains. Overnight at the Everest Base Camp in a tent.
Today, you will resume your trek alongside Rongbuk glacier. You will walk on the path with debris and boulders. The final steep trail takes you to Camp I today. You will camp amid moraine hills. You might want to explore nearby Rongbuk glacier and enjoy the moraine. Overnight in a tent at Camp I.
You will resume your trek on a path with grit heap looking the snowcapped mountains. Further, you will climb to a rocky moraine before arriving at Interim Camp. The interim camp is also an excellent viewpoint. Overnight at tented camp.
Today you will stay at Interim camp for acclimatization purpose and to take a rest. You may explore the area near the camping site. The camping site itself also offers you beautiful mountain views. Overnight at interim camp in a tent.
Today, you will walk to reach Camp II. It will be a short day so you can spend enough time to enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains during today’s trek. You will also have a view of Changtse glacier today. It would be proper acclimatization at camp II before climbing further. Overnight in a tent at Camp II.
Today is an exciting day as you are arriving at the highest point of your trek. In the beginning, you will walk alongside a glacier on a moraine. Further ascend on a hill takes you to the Advance Base Camp via camp III. You will express victory as you arrive at the Advance Base Camp of Mount Everest. You will descend to Camp II for the overnight stay.
You will have a long descent to the Base camp from Camp II today. Though it’s a long day, it is good for you as you descend to a comfortable altitude. Overnight in a tented camp at the Base Camp.
After breakfast, you will drive to Kerung from Everest Base Camp today. You will enjoy the views of Tibetan Plateau during today’s drive, and also you will be gradually leaving the Tibet region. Your today destination Kerung is a town lies in the border of Nepal and China. Overnight at Kerung.
Though it’s a long drive to Kathmandu, you will enjoy the green vegetation and rivers on the route. You will also observe the way of life of local denizens in the settlements alongside the road. We will transfer you to a respective hotel in Kathmandu. We will take you for a farewell dinner tonight.
Unless you prolong your Nepal trip, this is the final day in Nepal for this time. Our representative will transfer you to Tribhuwan International Airport for your final departure. You will fly out of Nepal with beautiful memories of this exciting trip.
